 Best Party Games For Kids

Playing physical games is necessary for kids as it keeps them healthy, happy, and energetic. Games are a must when organizing birthday parties and functions. The most important question that troubles us when it comes to organizing birthday parties or any gathering of kids is what games should we organize for them because organizing games for kids is nowadays a very important part of celebrations. you must have witnessed difficulty in finding good games for kids. What to choose and what not.  I will provide you with some games for kids that can help you keep the kids engaged and entertained for an hour at least.

So get ready to coordinate and conduct the games I provide here. All games are music based so make sure you have a good music system that can be played or paused easily. You can make someone play or pause music for you.

If it is a birthday party it must start with a birthday wishing. There are many ways to wish birthday girl or boy but if all kids wish the birthday girl or boy loudly together it is good for the birthday boy and girl as it boosts their confidence.

#1. Birthday Wishing

The simplest birthday wishing is to gather all the kids in front of the birthday boy or girl. Count till three and when you finish counting all kids have to shout “Happy Birthday ----name------”. The loudest one should be the winner

#2. Lift Your Partner:

This is a very simple game but it is funny. Kids have to pair up first. Each kid needs to select one partner for themselves. Suppose there are 20 kids, then there will be 10 pairs. Once pairing up is done, make them stand in a circle. The game is when the music starts all kids have to walk in a circle and keep dancing, after 30 or 45 seconds music will stop. When the music stops, one partner of the pair will have to lift the other one. Whichever partner lifts last is out. This continues until you have your winner.

#3. Go Below the Stick.

For this game, you will need a stick 2 feet in length at least. Make all the kids stand one behind the other in the queue facing you like a snake. You should be standing in front of the start of the queue. You hold the stick in the air, straight to shoulder height. When the music starts, all kids have to go below the stick without touching it. Make sure they go one at a time. After crossing the stick, again, kids go below the stick. Every round you should bring down the stick. Select the winner who remains till the end.

#4. Pass the Rope.

This game is not the same as passing the parcel. It is the same as passing the ring but instead of rope, we will use the circular rope. Again in this game, we will need pairs. Make sure all kids are paired and standing in a circle. When the music starts each pair has to pass itself through the rope, from forehead to toe, and give the rope to the next pair. When the music stops after 30 or 45 seconds the pair that has the rope will be out. Continue it till you have the winner.

#5. Pass the Stick in the Queue.

This time you need to separate the kids into two groups. Make the two groups face each other. The distance between the two groups should be at least 5 meters. The first player of the first group should be facing the first player of the second group and so on.  Give the stick to any player. When the music starts, the player with the stick goes running to any player in the second group, gives the stick to him, and joins the second (stands in the second group) Now this player who has the stick goes running to the first group. This continues for 30 0r 45 seconds then the music stops. When the music stops, the player with the stick is out. Continue the game till you have the winner.

#6. Musical Numbers:

Make all the players stand in the circle, when music starts, Kids have to walk in the circle and dance. When the music stops, You will shout any number less than the number of kids playing or the number from which many groups can be formed. Kids have to form groups of that number. Kids who are left out or can not form a group will be out. Suppose, 18 kids are walking in the circle, the music stops, you say the number 5. Kids will make groups of 5. There will be 3 kids left. All 3 kids are out now. Now the remaining kids continue walking in the circle. This time, you say a different number. This continues. You can decide the winner the way you want.
